Completes appropriate authorizations and chain of custody forms for urine drug screen testing Observes the collection of urine specimens Processes specimens for transmission to testing laboratory Receives laboratory urine test results and disseminates as appropriate to authorized recipients Receives telephone and personal callers; screens and refers them appropriately Solves problems or answers questions that require substantial programmatic knowledge Checks clients in for appointments, including checking outstanding account balances to ensure compliance with established payment plans Receives payments from clients or other sources for payment on accounts Notifies service provider of client arrival Provides receptionist services during evening operation hours Schedules appointments with the appropriate service provider for clients in electronic health record system Collects basic information from clients in order to establish a record in the electronic health record system Verifies insurance coverage Contacts former clients to conduct follow-up surveys Assists with extrapolating data from EHR to submit to Medicaid or other third party payors Reviews data to ensure accuracy before submitting for payment Provides programmatic information or directs request to appropriate person Composes replies to general and non-routine correspondences Types materials from handwritten notes; insures that format, grammar, spelling and punctuation are correct Maintains and posts various departmental or programmatic information to logs or ledgers (i.
